Your game data
Sunday Drive uses a necessary first-party cookie, sd_visitor, containing a random identifier to save and resume your daily attempt. The cookie lasts up to one year and is renewed when you use the game. We store the identifier with your daily answers, selected player IDs, question IDs, timing, and scores to run the game, prevent duplicate scoring, and improve answer rarity. Completed scores contribute to aggregate comparisons. Incorrect typed names are not retained in the game database.
Daily play does not require an account. Optional archive sign-in stores your email address and a random account ID. Resend processes your email address and sign-in email to deliver a single-use link. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. A necessary, secure first-party cookie, __Host-sd_account, keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Only hashes of sign-in and session tokens are stored in the game database. Short-lived hashed email and IP identifiers help limit abusive email requests. Expired tokens and rate-limit records are cleaned up on subsequent successful email requests. Accounts remain stored until deleted; signing out removes the current server session. See Resend’s privacy policy. Archive purchases are not enabled yet, and the game does not currently collect payment information. Your browser also sends technical information, including your IP address, to our hosting provider, Cloudflare. The game uses your IP address for rate limiting but does not store it in its gameplay database. Cloudflare processes technical information to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Retention and browser controls
Game records are currently retained without an automatic deletion schedule for saved attempts, score comparisons, and rarity calculations. You can delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Deleting the game cookie removes that browser’s access to its saved attempt; it does not delete previously stored server records or aggregate statistics.
Advertising
We are preparing Google AdSense advertising for the results screen. Ads remain disabled until our advertising setup is ready. When enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and browsing information to deliver, personalize and measure ads, subject to applicable consent choices. Third-party cookies can enable ads based on visits to this and other websites.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and learn about participating advertisers’ choices at YourAdChoices. Where required, an advertising consent message will let you choose before advertising storage or personalization is used. Advertising will not be required to submit an answer or view a score.
