Drive to 3 destinations that take you up along the Hudson River on a historic and scenic journey. First find yourself at the Maithiessen Park viewing the Hudson River from a number of resting places or walking along an undulating path through a variety of different trees. Travel to the historic Rockefeller State Park in Sleepy Hollow walking along old stone bridges that perhaps the infamous headless horseman once frequented. Finally end your journey at the Craton State park for a hike along a peninsula jutting out into the Hudson, spend the night camping and gaze upon the Tappan Zee Bridge and city lights, or wake up early to watch the sun rise over the Hudson.
