This route through the Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut is especially stunning in the fall when the leaves are turning. Beginning at Bairds General Store in Cornwall Bridge, you will drive through a historic covered bridge, wander in an ancient bog, visit a couple of old stone follies, and end up at a spectacular 360 degree view from the top of Mohawk Mountain.
